Lately I have wondered what in thhe world got into me to think that I could be on a team for this adventure...I feel sorry for my teammates because sometimes I get these grandiose ideas of what I am capable of doing...then I start realizing...riding in the dark? in the cold? in the woods? alone?...cause usually in the races I end up on a trail by myself somehow for a while.

DO NOT GET ME WRONG THERE IS NO WAY I AM THINKING OF QUITTING AND LETTING DOWN MY TEAM....

it is just that i am realizing what i have signed up for...kinda like when the babies become teenagers and you have to keep them anyway for a while longer...

so...I have been practicing interupted sleep for the past 20 years and I have that down really really well...mountainbiking....a half year...in the dark...not at all, in the cold, only once in the daylight....so...........

BLACK CATS...you guys are really in for a challenge having me on your team...hope you guys were not kidding about doing it for fun

i have been in the dark and in the cold at 3 a.m. before Turbodog, only then I was facing death...not riding a mountainbike!!!! I don't know what my motivation to do this was other than to prove that I am some kind of crazed person who does not know reason....kinda scary even for Halloween...the fact that the Zombie Knox Attorney at Law, aka...Spectator will be on the trails in the cold and dark...unrelenting....eeeeee

MY silks and fine array,
My smiles and languished air,
By love are driven away;
And mournful lean Despair
Brings me yew to deck my grave:
Such end true lovers have.

His face is fair as heaven
When springing buds unfold;
O, why to him was't given
Whose heart is wintry cold?
His breast is love's all-worshipped tomb,
Where all love's pilgrims come.

Bring me an axe and spade,
Bring me a winding-sheet;
When I my grave have made,
Let winds and tempest beat:
Then down I'll lie, as cold as clay.
True love doth pass away!

- William Blake

Just remember, you are riding your bike by choice. Think about all the times you wanted to ride your bike, but couldn't for one reason or another. Focus on the trail ahead, keep pedaling, and good things will happen! :)
